Anglo American recently launched a dedicated customer portal for Platinum Group Metals (PGMs). The platform provides access to real-time data concerning the logistics and delivery status of PGM parcels, presented in a secure and transparent way, with key features including:
As well as improving the customer experience, the portal will drive process efficiency and reduce the risk involved in delivering high value, low volume PGM parcels around the world.
The shift to a digital exchange of information and key documents has also been the catalyst for the development of single, secure data source that will sit at the centre of our activities. Longer-term, this will help satisfy the need for greater transparency and information security, while optimising productivity by reducing the amount of manual data and email communications required.

The portal is designed for customers, notifying parties and third-party security agents, who can use it to gain a personalised view of information relevant to their processes. New users that want to use the portal to track their PGM parcels can be onboarded instantly, to the highest security standards.
