The job of our Discovery team is to explore new terrain and find out if there are minerals that we can mine, with the minimum of impact on the environment, under the ground.
It’s a job for the curious and the energetic, and those fascinated by our planet and all its elements.
In many cases, colleagues on a Discovery team will be the first representatives of Anglo American that communities meet. By engaging with local communities and understanding their needs right from the start, they ensure that the legacy we leave, when the life of the mine is over, is a positive one.
Anglo American has operations in 15 different countries and our Discovery teams have projects on the go in locations that range from Greenland and Finland to Ecuador and Angola.
We only succeed if you succeed - from day one of your time with Anglo American, your development will be a priority for us.
We want work to be a place where you feel included, valued and respected. Somewhere where you can be yourself and realise your full potential, regardless of background, lifestyle or gender. Our Everyone inclusion and diversity (I&D) strategy is designed to create an environment to help you do just that.
