Anglo American has made it on to Bloomberg's Gender-Equality Index (GEI) for the first time.

The Bloomberg GEI was created to bring more transparency to the statistics surrounding companies’ performances in the area of gender equality. It assesses internal company statistics, employee policies and what, in general terms, companies are doing to advance gender equality in their companies and communities.

Increasingly, our stakeholders care about how we treat our colleagues and our wider communities

Liz Douglas Head of Inclusion & Diversity for Anglo American

Our reputation in this area helps to inform investors’ decision-making and helps us to attract new, talented colleagues and retain our current ones.
