Anglo Platinum Management Changes

30 July, 2007

Anglo American announces that Ralph Havenstein, CEO of Anglo Platinum, has resigned with effect from August 30, 2007.

A search process to appoint a successor is underway.

In the interim, Duncan Wanblad (Director of Projects and Engineering) and Norman Mbazima (Finance Director) will be appointed joint acting CEO's for operational and commercial activities respectively.
