(1) Anglo American Capital plc (AAC) is wholly owned by Anglo American plc. AAC is an issuer for the EMTN programme and acts as the principal financing vehicle for Anglo American plc. All notes issued under the program are guaranteed by Anglo American plc.
(2) Anglo American South Africa Ltd (AASA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Anglo American plc. AASA holds the investments in the South African operations and arranges its own financing through a wholly owned finance company, Anglo American SA Finance Ltd (AASAF). AASAF is the Issuer of notes under the South African DMTN programme which is guaranteed by Anglo American plc.
