Speakup aims to eradicate dishonesty, fraud and other inappropriate behaviour in the workplace

The Speakup website – managed by Tip-offs Anonymous – has been set up to address such lapses. Providing a unique and innovative solution, Speakup aims to eradicate dishonesty, fraud and other inappropriate behaviour in the workplace, 24-hours a day, 365 days a year.

Tip-offs Anonymous is an organisation completely independent of Anglo American. The web-based Speakup system runs on independent and secure servers to ensure that information about callers and the Anglo American Group is protected. All information received from callers is ‘sanitised’ before submission to designated persons in the Group – meaning the removal of all indications as to the identity of the caller.

It doesn't matter whether you're an employee, customer, supplier, manager or shareholder, your report will be dealt with in a safe, confidential and secure way.

Speakup is just one tool we use to ensure our values of care and respect, integrity and accountability are upheld. It is there for the benefit of our people and the benefit of the business, and acts as a deterrent to those who do not engage, operate and act in the manner we believe to be acceptable.
