We regularly review the various elements of our reward package to ensure that they remain market-competitive and focused on delivering the Group’s strategic objectives, enhancing long-term shareholder value and ensuring that we attract and retain the most valuable employees.
Reward at Anglo American goes hand in hand with performance, and we have recently established a new Group-wide Performance Management Standard that seeks to set fair and consistent standards for performance and to reward success in an equitable and transparent way. The aim is for all employees to understand what is expected of them (both in terms of results and behaviour) and to have the right support and opportunities to succeed, supported by a culture of ongoing coaching and feedback.
