Calling all explorers

The job of our Discovery team is to explore new terrain and find out if there are minerals that we can mine, with the minimum of impact on the environment, under the ground.

It’s a job for the curious and the energetic, and those fascinated by our planet and all its elements.

In many cases, colleagues on a Discovery team will be the first representatives of Anglo American that communities meet. By engaging with local communities and understanding their needs right from the start, they ensure that the legacy we leave, when the life of the mine is over, is a positive one.
