Overview

We have iron ore and manganese operations on three continents – South Africa, South America and Australia.

Metallurgical Coal

Overview

Our metallurgical coal business is Australia's second largest producer of coal and its third largest global exporter of metallurgical coal.

Thermal Coal

Overview

Our thermal coal business has operations in South Africa and Colombia.

Copper

Overview

We have six copper operations in Chile, two copper projects in Peru and the Pebble project in Alaska.

Nickel

Overview

Our nickel business has three ferronickel operations: Codemin and Barro Alto in Brazil and Loma de Níquel in Venezuela.

Platinum

Overview

Our Platinum business, based in South Africa, is the world’s leading primary producer of platinum, and accounts for approximately 40% of global supply.

Diamonds

Overview

De Beers is the world's leading diamond company. They have expertise in exploration, mining and marketing of diamonds.

Other Mining and Industrial

Overview

With the restructure of our business in October 2009, we created a more streamlined management structure with further focus on its core mining portfolio.
